The Catholic Diocese of Richmond seeks a Director of Development for the Catholic Campus Ministry at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

The Catholic Campus Ministry operates at Virginia Tech, which is a public, state university located in Southwest Virginia in the town of Blacksburg. Virginia Tech has an enrollment of over 35,000 students and is home to a large, active Catholic Campus Ministry.

The Development Director reports directly to the Director of Campus Ministry and is responsible for leading and managing the fund development program, raising funds for the ministry and programs of the Catholic Campus Ministry at Virginia Tech, and managing all committees involved in fund development activities. Our Mission at CCM is to support, challenge and inspire students, faculty, and staff to grow in faith and live out their call to be true disciples of Christ on campus and in their daily lives. Founded on Christ’s teachings and the Eucharist we prepare Catholic leaders for service to the Church and world through the pillars of Faith, Community and Service.

Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required with 3-5 years of experience in fund development preferred.

This is a full-time exempt position on a salary basis. Salary is commensurate with experience and diocesan pay scale.
