Diocesan and Parish Youth Minister
Worcester, MA

The Diocese of Worcester and Holy Family of Nazareth Parish (Leominster, MA) are looking to hire a shared youth ministry position.

Job Overview:

• 20 hours/week – Diocese of Worcester – Assistant Diocesan Director for Youth Ministry
• 20 hours/week – Holy Family of Nazareth, Leominster – Youth Minister and Religious Education Coordinator at a medium size parish
• Ideal start date for summer 2023 or as soon as possible

Job Responsibilities:

Diocesan Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Diocesan Director in Diocesan Youth & Young Adult Ministry Events (see website)
• Coordinate Youth Discipleship Team – Youth high school leadership team that focuses on prayer, formation and evangelization. Meetings take place 1 time/month.
• Serve as a regional liaison to parishes, pastors, and youth ministry leaders

Parish Job Responsibilities

• Shared position with another minister splitting the roles of coordinating religious education for grades 1-5 OR middle school and high school

Qualifications:

• Practicing Catholic
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Theology, Catechetics, Youth Ministry, or related field
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Good with technology and social media
