Wise Guys An Edge Night on the Epiphany of the Lord About this Edge Night The Edge Night begins with a Gather game that commemorates the magi bringing Jesus gifts by having the youth unwrap gifts while wearing oven mitts. The Proclaim discusses how the Epiphany reminds us that the true meaning of Christmas, the Incarnation, extends beyond Christmas Day. The Break allows for small group conversation to discuss the story of the Epiphany and its relevance to us. The Send ends the Edge Night with a rendition of the traditional Epiphany house blessing for the Edge meeting space. Goal of This Night The goal of this Edge Night is to prepare the youth for and explain the Church’s celebration of the Epiphany of the Lord. This Edge Night will provide the youth with an understanding of the feast and personal applications to their faith.
