Wild Things An Edge Issue Night on Peer Pressure and Freedom About this Issue Night The Edge Night begins with the youth reading the classic children’s book, Where the Wild Things Are and building forts. This activity will help to transition into the teaching, which focuses on growing up, receiving more independence, and properly understanding freedom. They will also be given tools to combat peer pressure. The youth will then have a chance to discuss the teaching and the Edge Night will end with a witness from a Core Member before the closing prayer. Goal of This Night The goal of this Edge Night is to help the youth understand what true freedom is and how to combat the increasing peer pressure they will face as they are growing up.
