The Waters An Edge Night on Baptism in Scripture Summary During the Gather, the youth will compete in their small groups to see which group can “debeard” themselves with squirt guns the fastest. The Proclaim focuses on the foreshadowings of Baptism in the Old Testament and how Jesus fulfills these prefigurations in the New Testament. In the Break, the youth will focus on the Parable of the Vine and the Branches and will write cards to those who are experiencing suffering. During the Send, the youth will write a prayer to God like one our forefathers, Abraham, Moses, and David. Goal of This Night The goal of this Edge Night is for the youth to understand the Scriptural foundations of Baptism in both the Old and New Testaments.
