Source and Summit An Edge Night on the Eucharist in Scripture Summary The Gather kicks off the night with a high energy relay race where youth will dress up like mountain climbers. The Proclaim breaks open different Scripture passages in the Old and New Testaments that help the youth understand the importance of the Eucharist in their daily lives. During the Break, the middle school youth split off into their small groups to prepare skits on the Multiplication of the Loaves and the Wedding at Cana and discuss how these miracles of Jesus prepare us for the Institution of the Eucharist. The night concludes with a time of Eucharistic Adoration during the Send. Goal of This Night The goal of this Edge Night is for the youth to understand the Scriptural roots of the Eucharist in the Old and New Testaments and to help them have a deeper love of the Eucharist and appreciation for the Mass.
