Power Up An Edge Night on Grace, Justification, and the Church In the Gather, the youth will play a racing game with a twist that shows them the power of grace. The Proclaim will teach the youth about God’s initiation of salvation and our response of participation in His grace and will touch on the precepts of the Catholic Church, which offer a starting point for that participation. The Break will give the youth time to talk specifically about how they can actively participate in the Divine Life of God. The Send will remind the youth that Jesus takes on our sins and reconciles us, concluding with Veneration of the Cross. Goal of This Night The goal of this Edge Night is for the youth to understand the spiritual realities of grace and justification and how all of the merits of Christ’s death on the cross are accessible to us through the Church.
