Integrity An Edge Night on the Sixth Commandment About this Edge Night The Edge Night begins with a Gather dynamic that challenges the youth to wrap different objects that are difficult to wrap. The Proclaim teaches the youth about the sixth commandment, specifically how it reveals the importance of human sexuality, chastity, and upholding the dignity of others. They will also learn how they are called to be a “gift of self” to others in their lives. The Break gives the youth an opportunity to think of ways they can be a gift of self to others and see God’s gifts in their lives. The Edge Night ends with a Send that invites the youth to use their gifts to serve others. Goal of This Night The goal of this Edge Night is to help the youth understand sexuality in light of the sixth commandment, as well as how integrity upholds the goodness and intention for human sexuality.
