Grounded An Edge Night on Hope The Edge Night begins with a fun Gather game that requires each team to remain connected to a source while trying to accomplish a specific task. The Proclaim breaks open the importance of the theological virtue of hope. During the Break, the youth and parents split into small groups for discussion and reflect on the Beatitudes. In the Send, the youth and parents are guided to pray about firmly grounding themselves in the Lord and making an Act of Hope. Goal of This Night The goal of this Edge Night is for the youth and their parents to come to a greater understanding of the theological virtue of hope. They will learn to recognize that true happiness cannot be found in earthly things, but only in the Lord.
