Gathering Gear An Edge Night on Liturgy About This Night The Edge Night begins with a fun Gather game that continues the mountain theme, giving the youth an idea of how God provides for all of our needs. The Proclaim explains that the liturgy is our participation in the work of God, that His work is to sanctify us, and that our role is to engage in the liturgy fully and to share it in our lives. The Break and Send will help the youth to see the role that the entire Church plays in the liturgy through a reflection on sacred art. Goal of This Night The goal of this Edge Night is for the youth to understand the meaning and purpose of the liturgy as God’s sanctifying work so that they may fully enter into each liturgy and experience its profound affect on their lives.
