Blog Sneak Preview – Life Night Series by Joel Stepanek For 30 years, Life Nights have engaged the hearts of teenagers and helped them develop a deeper relationship with Christ. Life Night guides have taken a variety of forms, our most recent version following the USCCB framework for high school catechesis. We’ve taken the best Life Nights from those semesters and compiled them into our Gold Semesters, which will be available online in late September. Solidifying our eight-semester curriculum, we are moving to a series based model. These engaging, four Life Night series guides allow you to dive into a topic in a deeper way. The proven method of Gather, Proclaim, Break, and Send remains, but we’ve added in new adaptations, Hispanic inculturation, and social media packets. Each Life Support box contains two series for your parish to use. In September, we will be releasing “Merciful,” a series based on the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, and “Alive and Dangerous.” This second series focuses on our longing for God and the ways, both healthy and unhealthy, that we respond to this longing. We are excited to share these resources with you in September but don’t want to wait. Check out this exclusive preview of “Alive and Dangerous.” This preview includes all the introductory materials, an overview of the series, and the first Life Night. Share it with a friend, hand it to your Core Team, and use it to plan for your fall semester. There is more to reveal and share from our September 2015 Life Support box. Check back every week as we reveal more leading up to our late September release.
