Blog Sneak Preview: Life Support Videos by Joel Stepanek You have a great Life Night outline, the Core Team is set with small group questions, and your environment is ready to go – but something is missing. You are looking for the perfect video to help take the Life Night to the next level. Maybe you are looking for something humorous that helps break down barriers and teaches an important truth, like “Inside Out.” Perhaps you are seeking a teaching video that is engaging and thought-provoking like “Breathe.” You could also be looking for a narrative piece that takes teenagers on a journey like “I Confess” or “Armor of God.” At Life Teen, we want to keep you up-to-date and stocked with great video resources. Not only that, but we want your video resources to go even further in supporting your ministry. With your new Life Support, we’ve added some exciting elements to our video library and changed our video philosophy to give you even more value. Videos That Go Further Our videos will work within a Life Night, but you won’t need a Life Night to give them context. They will be able to stand alone and be understood in a variety of contexts, allowing you to use them for multiple Life Nights, parent nights, confirmation meetings, and small group gathers. Some videos will even have an extra discussion PDF that goes along with them to help you use the video for a small group gathering outside of a Life Night. Video Downloads We know that sometimes your parish WiFi isn’t that great (and you may not even have WiFi in that basement parish hall). You can now download any video from our library to take with you wherever you gather. New Friends This year, we’ve partnered with “Outside da Box” to expand our video library. Finding that perfect video for your Life Night, retreat, or confirmation session just got easier. Their videos are fully searchable in our library. Go ahead – log in and take a look. Just to give you a look at some of our new material, check out one of our brand new videos, “Awkward Family Moments.” This humorous video takes on the video style of “The Office” and “Parks and Recreation,” to give us an inside look at the ups, downs, and many awkward moments in a Catholic family. There is much more to come – our Film and Video Team is passionate about creating videos that help teenagers discover and engage their faith. Just wait until you see the incredible things they have in store for this upcoming year. Subscribing parishes can view our entire video library as part of their subscription. Not subscribed?
