Empower 2021, hosted by Life Teen CIO/Executive VP Mark Hart, offers you NINE practical training sessions that will both inform and inspire your Core Team. Downloadable discussion questions and activities accompany each session, as well, to ensure that your leaders not only see and hear the training but distill it down to practical and foundational steps they can implement within your parish youth ministry programs
There are many women who are a vital part of salvation history and their stories are critical parts of Sacred Scripture. This scriptural devotion will inspire young women to raise their heads along with Mary, Martha, Lydia, and Esther and look into the eyes of Jesus, the God who loves deeply and perfectly.

There is a clear hierarchy in the cookie realm: chocolate chip cookies, and then everything else. You’re welcome to disagree if you like. It’s a free country, so go ahead: be wrong. My wife, speaking my love language when I’ve had a rough go of something, made me chocolate chip […]

One afternoon in Nashville, I was attending a songwriting workshop. We sat before a panel of some of CCM’s (Contemporary Christain Music) top songwriters and worship leaders for a Q&A session. A young girl several rows ahead of me raised her hand, and asked the blunt question, “I grew up […]

Wouldn’t it be great if your life as a youth minister could have an easy button? Well it can! I mean it is more like three or four buttons, and they aren’t actually buttons…but you get the point. In case you missed it Life Teen has teamed up with Flocknote […]
I just took down my Christmas tree in my office (yes I put up a Christmas tree in my office) and Ash Wednesday is next week! WHAT? The Girl Scouts haven’t delivered my cookies yet, and I have to start thinking about Stations of the Cross and the CRS Rice […]

Have you ever heard of the old speaking technique of “picture your audience naked?” Yeah, I think it’s not a good idea too, especially if you work with youth. I have never tried this technique frankly because it’s disturbing. When I think about speaking in front of a large crowd […]
