Empower 2021, hosted by Life Teen CIO/Executive VP Mark Hart, offers you NINE practical training sessions that will both inform and inspire your Core Team. Downloadable discussion questions and activities accompany each session, as well, to ensure that your leaders not only see and hear the training but distill it down to practical and foundational steps they can implement within your parish youth ministry programs
There are many women who are a vital part of salvation history and their stories are critical parts of Sacred Scripture. This scriptural devotion will inspire young women to raise their heads along with Mary, Martha, Lydia, and Esther and look into the eyes of Jesus, the God who loves deeply and perfectly.

A few years ago, I traveled to Philadelphia for a Theology of the Body course taught by Christopher West. I was both excited and nervous and found myself in a ministry setting where I knew no one, which is a bit strange for me. After the introduction session, I moved […]

I’m tired. I’ve been wondering what I’m doing in ministry with teens. I come home most nights feeling defeated and rejected. Our Core is tired. Our numbers at Life Nights are down. And it seems like every time I turn around someone is telling me how things can be improved […]

It’s Sunday night; you know what that means? Life Night! You walk into the youth room and hear Matt Maher singing, “Lord I Need You” and walk through the game plan for the night with the rest of the Core Team. It’s a little different than usual, and you like […]

A flurry of excitement, nerves, and energy abound when a military community is moving toward change; especially when it involves our youth. When we adults look back to our time as young persons, most of us feel a sense of nostalgia for the energy and fortitude we once had, the […]
Nine years ago, God started inviting me to close doors in ministry. This action, however painful, brought me so much fulfillment. I was involved in multiple diocesan events, on teams for leadership institutes, volunteering for Life Teen as an Area Contact, and serving as a youth minister at a large […]
Have you ever felt out of touch with today’s music on a secular and Christian level? Not sure what is safe to play and what is popular with teens? Are you looking for new worship music for an upcoming retreat or XLT? Well, Life Teen has you covered! We are […]

What are they thinking? It’s laughable the number of times I’ve heard this from one of my parents, teachers, insert-other-adult-mentor-here. Usually, they’re referring to some new piercing trend, but occasionally they’re talking about more important things, and I wind up with the job of trying to explain my peers. Let […]
