The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of 24 conferences across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. Each summer, Life Teen hosts several Steubenville Youth Conferences with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys to Christ.
We are offered a future full of hope. That future, however, will not simply arrive at our doorstep. We must co-labor with Christ as he speaks hope into this world. A future of hope starts with the youth of today. They are tomorrow’s prophets and apostles, developers and doctors, teachers and preachers, athletes and artists, mystics and martyrs. How they are shaped today will be how they shape tomorrow.
There are many women who are a vital part of salvation history and their stories are critical parts of Sacred Scripture. This scriptural devotion will inspire young women to raise their heads along with Mary, Martha, Lydia, and Esther and look into the eyes of Jesus, the God who loves deeply and perfectly.
You are going to make thousands of decisions today and one of them might change your life. Are you confident that what you want and what God want are the same thing? Don’t leave it up to chance - leave it in the hands of the Holy Spirit.
Edge helps middle schoolers unleash who they were created to be, in Christ.
Life Teen strengthens our teens' Catholic identity, while rooting them firmly in Christ and in His Church.

It’s true that our plans do not always match God’s plans, but I can guarantee you one thing: He will never ask you to dream of less; He will only ever ask you to dream of more.

If we don’t give God the opportunity to enter into us and change us in prayer, our lives will remain the same. He’s ready to work in our lives, but He gave us free will to choose whether we allow Him to or not. It is our choice whether we receive or reject Him.

When we recognize our own limits and acknowledge God’s limitless power and love, His power and love are shown to us all the more.

I was always told that prayer was important but whenever I showed up in prayer, I walked away perplexed and frustrated. I knew that I was missing something, but it took that very raw and awkward moment in my life to realize this: I was overthinking prayer.

These are the people you are most likely to meet no matter what chapel you visit.

I remember thinking, “How in the world is this supposed to make me a better person? I’m not getting any holier by eating fewer churros at lunch!”
I cannot sanctify myself, and, thankfully, that’s not my job. My job is to love my Savior, to ask patiently and persistently for the grace of humility, and to trust that everything—including my sanctification—is in His hands.

Maybe you function better without the busy-ness of the school year, or maybe a hectic schedule is exactly what you need to get motivated. Regardless, whip out those new ink pens: it’s game (plan) time.

Imagine if I hadn’t asked my best friend for prayers. She too would have thought she was the only one in darkness that day.
Most days, though, I cannot make my intention — focused, deep, persistent prayer — match reality — a holy hour where I spend 58 minutes thinking about those fried cheese curds from Wisconsin.
