Summer Camp Video: Camp Covecrest Week 6 [Life Teen]

Camp video from week 6 of summer camp at Life Teen Camp Covecrest in Tiger, Georgia. This week Life Teen high schoolers experienced “Epic” while going on ropes courses, messy games, games, and white water river rafting. Their Catholic faith was also engaged through daily Mass, Sacrament of Reconciliation, prayer times, Stations of the Cross, and talks and skits that spoke to their faith.

Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 02 (Life Teen), Day 05

The final day of Life Teen Covecrest camp, Week 2, was packed with messy games, a trip to the mud pit and waterfall, and an evening of worship, prayer and adoration. The teens were sent out Saturday afternoon with the mission to be agents of change in their communities. “Behold the Mystery” was the theme, with host Randy Raus and musician Ben Walther. Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 02 (Life Teen), Day 4

The fourth day of Week 2 at Covecrest Life Teen summer camp was a beautiful day of campers participating in high and low ropes courses, while the other half of the camp went white water rafting for the day. The day ended with Mass, then a session and campers had the opportunity to go to Reconciliation. The theme is “Behold the Mystery,” with host Randy Raus and musician Ben Walther. [nggallery id=116]

Camp Covecrest Week 2 (Life Teen), Day 01

The first day of Covecrest’s second week of summer camp welcomed Life Teen campers with a bright, sunny day. As the campers poured into camp, the staff held a cookout for dinner and the campers had a blast playing games at Carnival. Musician Ben Walther opened up the first session of the evening with praise and worship. The week’s host is Life Teen president Randy Raus, and the theme is “Behold the Mystery.” [nggallery id=114]

Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 01 (Edge), Day 02

The second day of the first week of Edge camp at Covecrest was filled with a lot of reflection and small group time, along with organized free time (soccer, ultimate frisbee, four square, making bracelets and other activities). The campers, chaperones and staff were blessed to have three priests present at Mass in the evening. Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 1 (Edge), Day 1

This is Day 1 of the first week of camp this summer. More than 100 Edge campers arrived today and despite the rain, everyone enjoyed cooking out, participating in outdoor activities and meeting the summer staff. The theme is “Behold the Mystery.” Camp host is Steve Allgeyer; musicians are Greg Boudreaux, Lizzie Wales and Patrick Williams.
