Camp Covecrest 2011, Week 09 (Life Teen), Day 1

Teens from all over gathered at Camp Covecrest today to start day one of their “epic adventure!” Campers were welcomed by the summer staff and enjoyed a medieval festival complete with jousting, chariot racing and tug o’ war. After a fun-filled festival, teens headed into their first session. Randy Raus, this week’s host, gave a talk on “Epic Love” with Josh Blakesley leading praise and worship. Parishes then met with their small groups and gathered back together to dive into God’s love during adoration.

Camp Covecrest 2011, Week 06 (Life Teen), Day 5

Teens at Covecrest spent the last full day of camp overcoming obstacles. Everyone participated in the gauntlet, an obstacle course around camp, and wasted no time getting messy! After overcoming physical obstacles, teens headed to an evening session on “Epic Life.” Longtime friend of Covecrest and Life Teen, Happy, shared how to turn those obstacles into blessings and to always be happy.

Camp Covecrest 2011, Week 04 (Edge), Day 05

Campers spent the last full day at Covecrest participating in “xtreme adventures.” In the morning, campers had a chance to play games, play music and do some arts and crafts with each other. After that, Edge students wasted no time getting messy and competed in the gauntlet. During the night session, campers broke into their small groups where they shared and prayed over each other.

Camp Covecrest 2011, Week 03 (Life Teen), Day 05

“Life Teeners” spent the last full day of camp in prayer and friendly competition. Campers spent the morning split in a men’s session and a women’s session. After a morning of prayer and fellowship, it was time to get messy! Teens spent the afternoon competing in the gauntlet. In the evening, teens were able to spend time in their small groups.

Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 06 (Life Teen), Day 2

Life Teeners at camp Covecrest started off Day 2 of Week 6 with Mission Adventure, where they went in their small groups all over camp to find clues by playing games. The campers enjoyed free time in the afternoon, including ultimate frisbee, soccer, mountain biking and just hanging out on Mike’s Place porch. Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 03 (Life Teen), Day 3

On Day 3 of the third week of camp at Covecrest, Life Teen campers headed to the high ropes courses to push themselves, encourage friends and work towards team strategies on the low ropes. The day ended with Mass, a skit and session, and small groups. This week’s theme was “Behold the Mystery,” with host Joe Farris and musician Matt Miller. [nggallery id=121]

Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 03 (Life Teen), Day 2

These photos are from Day 2 of the third week of camp of Life Teen groups at Covecrest this summer. The teens started off the morning with a small group reflection, then went into Mission Adventure games. The afternoon saw quite a bit of rain, but the campers still had fun playing soccer, ultimate frisbee and four square in the rain.
