2010 Camp Covecrest, Week 07 (Life Teen), Day 3

Day 3 of life at Covecrest in the seventh week was packed with half of the campers conquering fears and working together on the high and low ropes courses. The other half conquered fears and had a blast whitewater rafting at Nantahala Outdoor Center. Fr. Joe Pellegrino celebrated Mass before the night’s session, which focused on Mary’s fiat and how the teens all have a call to say “yes” to God in their own specific way. 2010 Camp Covecrest, Week 07 (Life Teen), Day 2

After breakfast and morning session on Day 2 of the seventh week of camp at Covecrest, teens got started with the games of Mission Adventure. Then in the afternoon, the teens enjoyed a few hours of free time which led into family dinner and another session where chaperones washed the feet of their teens. 2010 Camp Covecrest, Week 07 (Life Teen), Day 1

Week 7 opened up at Covecrest with Life Teen parishes arriving in the afternoon, and getting right to business with a cookout for dinner and Carnival games to play before and after dinner. After the opening session, including the “Rules Skit,” campers ventured out to begin the night obstacle course in groups, protecting their chaperones who held water balloons.
