2010 Camp Covecrest, Week 07 (Life Teen), Day 3

Day 3 of life at Covecrest in the seventh week was packed with half of the campers conquering fears and working together on the high and low ropes courses. The other half conquered fears and had a blast whitewater rafting at Nantahala Outdoor Center. Fr. 2010 Camp Covecrest, Week 06 (Life Teen), Day 4

Photos are from Day 4 of the sixth week of camp at Life Teen Covecrest. Like Day 3, it was a day all about ropes and rafting. Half of the camp went to Nantahala Outdoor Center to go whitewater rafting while the other half stayed at camp to do high and low ropes courses. When everyone came back together at camp, Fr. Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 06 (Life Teen), Day 3

These pictures show what Life Teen campers did at Covecrest on the third day of Week 6. While half of the teens went whitewater rafting at Nantahala Outdoor Center, the other half stayed at camp to challenge themselves on the high and low ropes courses. 2010 Camp Rockyvine, Week 02 (Edge), Day 3

The majority of the third day of “Behold the Mystery” Summer Camp was spent playing paintball, riding mountain boards, and completing low ropes elements. After surviving the heat, the middle schoolers spent the rest of the night inside with Mass and sessions about the mystery of Mary and the saints. Host Brian Kelsch and musician Mike Waldon participated in activities with the kids, while Father Tom Pastorius walked around and viewed from afar.

Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 05 (Edge), Day 4

These pictures show what went on at Camp Covecrest on Day 4 of the fifth week of camp. Edge campers went tubing and did the high and low ropes courses. In the evening, Fr. Jose Robles-Sanchez celebrated Mass and after a short session, campers had the opportunity to go to Reconciliation, pray the Divine Mercy chaplet and watch a missions video of Haiti. While half of the Edge campers went tubing in Helen, GA, on Day 3 of Week 5, the other half stayed at camp to do high and low ropes courses. Everyone came back together for Mass in the evening and session at night as the night focused on Mary’s “yes.” The theme of the week was “Behold the Mystery.” Host was Kevin Hickey; musician was Grae McCullough. Camp Rockyvine 2010, Week 01 (Life Teen), Day 3

Day three of “Behold the Mystery” Life Teen camp was full of fun and games and team-building activities such as low ropes, mountain boarding, paintball and flag tag. After playing in the sun all day, the teens and their chaperones learned of the mystery of Mother Mary and the of the saints. Joe Farris knew how to keep the teens’ attention with his stories and passion. Jackie Francois followed suit with her passionate voice and spirit during praise and worship and Mass.

During the third day of Edge camp this first week, some campers went to the lazy river and water park in Helen, GA. Others stayed at camp to participate in the high and low ropes courses, on which the campers pushed themselves to set goals, conquer them, and even went beyond their personal expectations.
