The Eucharist is the greatest gift we have received from our heavenly Father. This gift is even better than the miracle of Christ multiplying the loafs and fishes because it is not just bread, but God among us and within us. The Eucharist is a taste of heaven on earth.

Who we are is more important than what we do. Don’t ever forget to value people over the projects that they accomplish. This is especially important in regards to your priest. Make sure he knows you appreciate him for who he is, not just what he does.
In the outward sign of crossing our forehead, lips, and heart, we are asking that the Word of God to pierce our mind, lips, and hearts.
We cross our forehead so that the Word of God may be in our thoughts and purify our minds. We cross our lips so that our speech may be holy and incline us to share the Gospel with others. And we cross our hearts to invite God to strengthen our love for Him and others. All of this is so that we might know, proclaim, and love Jesus Christ all the more.
“You are not the sum of your sins, you are the sum of the Father’s love.” Pope John Paul II said this and the readings reflect it this week. When we give ourselves over to God, He will use us to do great things because He sees the potential in us when all we see is the brokenness.
What fruit does your life bear? You can’t just say that you love God, and that you’re a Christian; you have to follow through with your actions and prove it. This only becomes possible when you’re connected to God, the true vine that gives life.
