Is Your Halloween Costume Sexy?

It was 1999 and I had just entered my freshmen year of high school. The first school dance of the year was quickly approaching so I had to wear the perfect outfit. My goal was to look sexy because that’s what I thought I had to do to compete with other girls and to get attention from guys. The truth is I desperately wanted guys to find me attractive because I wanted to feel beautiful.

Are you up for it?: Life Teen Summer Prayer Challenge

You are being challenged. Not to a light saber duel. Or a Nerf gun war. And as fun as it sounds to try and drink a gallon of milk … that’s not what I mean either. The challenge is prayer. You know you have free time between Full House re-runs and weeding the garden for your Mom, so why not use it to grow in your relationship with God?

Camp Tepeyac 2010, Week 10 (Edge), Day 3

It’s day 3 of EDGE Camp at Tepeyac! Today the teens kick it in to high gear both physically and spiritually. They endure a great paintball match and high ropes challenges— testing their nerves, strength, agility, and character. They also enter into a solid Catholic Bible Study, an awe-inspiring sunset Mass, and family dinner.

Camp Covecrest 2010, Week 06 (Life Teen), Day 3

These pictures show what Life Teen campers did at Covecrest on the third day of Week 6. While half of the teens went whitewater rafting at Nantahala Outdoor Center, the other half stayed at camp to challenge themselves on the high and low ropes courses. The week’s theme was “Behold the Mystery,” with host Lisa Epperson and musician Ike Ndolo. [nggallery id=149]
