SCHEDULING CONFLICT

I hate repeating myself. Seriously. I hate it so much that often, if I can’t understand what someone is saying, and I’ve asked them to repeat themselves a couple times, and I STILL can’t understand what they’re saying, I just pretend to totally get it, mostly because I figure they hate to repeat themselves as much as I do. As you can imagine, that leads to a lot of awkward encounters and misunderstandings…

NO GOD, KNOW DOUBT – KNOW GOD, NO DOUBT

We all know Jesus’ final commission to “Go make disciples…” (Matthew 28:18-20). Don’t get me wrong, this is super important and something I am literally living into these days as a missionary, but the part that sticks out to me is what happens right before those words are spoken…

WE MUST GO!

There are people in the world who haven’t heard of the name of Jesus. In fact, there are people in your schools, your towns, and your workplaces, even family members and friends who don’t know the love of Christ. Sure, going to a foreign country on mission is beautiful, but foreign mission isn’t everyone’s calling. Start being missionary today, wherever you are. Christ’s Church needs you. Lost souls need you.

PUT ME IN, COACH – PART 3: RECEIVING A GAME PLAN

I am a huge fan of Star Wars, and specifically the scene in this movie clip. I always thought it was so cool that they had the blueprints of the Death Star and found its one weakness and were going to exploit it. In all my years of soccer, we as a team always tried to find the other team’s weakness and exploit it. That was the plan and the other team’s plan was to do the exact same thing to us.
