Is life worth living? With artists like Ed Sheeran, burgers at Five Guys and spending summers going to the Van’s Warped Tour, I’d say yes! Life is great! What college age kid doesn’t love to hang out, throw down a few heelflips on a skateboard (one of the few tricks I can do) and hit up 7 Eleven sucking down Fanta slurpees until three a.m with all your best friends? Not My Plan But Yours!

When I applied for Life Teen Missions, I applied for only one year. I knew I had to go back and finish school in six years so that I don’t have to pay back the money I got from the government. An Advent Story

One year ago I met my friend Kris while on mission with Life Teen in Mesa, Arizona. The youth minister at a parish we served with called us to come meet Kris and told us a little of his story. Kris was 19 years old and not Catholic, but had been invited to Life Teen events by a friend and kept coming back for a while now. She told us that we weren’t to meet Kris at the parish, but in a local hospital where he had already been for several weeks.
