At no time ……. Especially at a moment as critical as our own- can the Church forget the prayer that is a cry for the Mercy of God. The church has the right and duty to appeal to the God of mercy “WITH LOUD CRIES”!!!! -JP2
As we are the church together as a whole we must Cry out with Loud Cries!!! For his mercy for his healing power! WE MUST ALLOW HIM TO WORK IN OUR LIVES!!!!
From the Diary of St. Faustina the father explains his Divine Mercy for us!
I have opened My Heart as a living fountain of mercy. Let all souls draw life from it. Let them approach this sea of mercy with great trust (diary, 1520) On the Cross, the fountain of my mercy was opened wide by the lance for all souls — No one have I excluded! (1182) I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the fountain of mercy. That vessel is the image with the signature: Jesus, I trust in you” (327) The graces of my mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only, and that is—– Trust. The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive(1578)
ST. Faustina, Girl you blow my Mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No One is Excluded!!! His love accepts us as we are. “ Broken, fearful, hurt & afraid to even let him heal us. He desires to give himself more than we are to give are own self to him. I have been amazed by St. Faustina diary and her Trust in the lord.
So recently community has just been a continues dying to self for me. It has been pretty hard getting into the swing of things. I’m not going to go into any specifics but I will tell you what has been pulling my through. It was this quote from this book we have been reading in formation it’s call “ The Return of the Prodigal Son.” It talks about a leap of faith which is what our whole missionary year is. ONE BIG LEAP OF FAITH!
“The leap of faith always means loving without expecting to be loved in return, giving without wanting to receive, inviting without hoping to be invited, holding without asking to be held. And every time I make a little leap, I catch a glimpse of the One runs out to me and invites me into into his joy, the joy in which I can find not only myself but also my brothers and sisters. Thus the disciplines of trust and gratitude reveal the God who searches for me, burning with desire to take away all my resentments and complaints and to let me sit at his side at the heavenly banquet.”
Live a life without a regret of being loved. Live humbly & Love radically!
