This is the sixth week of the Life Teen Summer Prayer Challenge! How’s it going? This week we’d like to challenge you to: Pray in front of an abortion clinic.
Every day in the US 4,000 unborn babies are killed. You and I can make a difference though because prayer works. God listens and pours out grace.
It’s great to get down on your knees in private and pray for pregnant mothers and their unborn children. It’s even more powerful though to go stand outside an abortion clinic and be a public witness while you pray. You may even be the last hope for a woman who needs to speak to someone before she enters the clinic.
I know this is a hard prayer challenge. Not only in the sense that it can be harder to coordinate this into your schedule, but it’s also heart breaking to do this. I really want to encourage you to make the effort. God will bless it.
We often don’t see immediate fruits of our prayers when praying outside an abortion clinic. But I realized that even if you don’t see someone turn around and leave the clinic, you never know how many woman changed their mind and decided to stay home that day.
