Life Teen Staff Picks: iPieta App

I have a lot of Catholic apps on my phone but I’ve got to say that my current favorite is called “iPieta.” It’s a great “one stop shop” for Catholics who want to grow in their faith.

The app includes:

• The Bible
• The Catholic Calendar of Feast days along with the daily readings
• Popular devotions and prayers
• Classic spiritual writings of the Saints, Popes and Church Fathers
• Multiple Catechisms
• Papal encyclicals, council documents, Rosary Scriptures and a whole lot more

It’s the perfect app for people who want to grow in knowledge of the Catholic faith or deepen their prayer life. The ability to have so much mobile Catholic goodness on your phone is mind-boggling, and gives you a great way to pass the time when you’re sitting waiting for a friend to show up, standing alone in a line … or you’re bored in a meeting (not that I’ve ever done that).
