They point to a generation of young people who have abandoned the religious convictions of their parents in favor of secular ideals and convenient values. They point to news headlines about Masses that are celebrated for rows of empty pews and Catholic parishes in America that have closed in recent years.
But we haven’t given up hope. We joyfully point to the 40,000 teenagers who flock to 18 Steubenville Youth Conferences every summer to hear talks about virtue, holiness, and sacramental spirituality.
