Thank You Core Team

Dear Core Team Members,

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Seriously, thank you (insert my genuine voice saying thank you here)!

We all know that middle and high schoolers, as well as myself, don’t say thank you often enough. I want you to know how very grateful I am for all that you do. You are making a difference; not only in the life of teens but also in my life. When I see you at Life Night or Edge night, I am usually crazy busy, running around, talking to the teens, taking care of last minute details – but I want you to know that I care about you. The things you do behind the scenes, what you do in front of everyone at youth group, and what you do for me – means the world. When you question your role, your impact – please read this letter from me and know my heart is full of gratitude.

The Lord called you, and you said yes. You chose to make a difference, and you are. You wanted to touch young lives, and you do. You are a rock star! You’re a leader. You’re shaping the future generation, and you’re influencing them for eternity. From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of those who haven’t said it, thank you for all that you do.

Thank you for your passion and guidance. Thank you for the example that you set. Thank you for the sacrifices you and your family have made. Thank you for persisting and not giving up when things were difficult. Thank you for being a good sport including all the times you’ve had to do those skits and talks. Thank you for listening to loud music. Thank you for your patience, especially with the whip cream icebreakers and messy games. Thank you for giving 100%.

Thank you for your yes. Thank you for being you. I am praying for you.
Sincerely,

Your Youth Minister
