The world says that your value and power is only based on how much of your body you show. The Church says that you are far more valuable than just your body.

My dear sisters in Christ, you are worth SO much more than just your body!

The truth about uniforms/dress codes is they help us see who we are, they bring out our personality and true character. The unity in uniforms allows the unique dignity of our person to be truly seen. That is what we all desire most – to be seen. If you have ever met a group of religious sisters, you know that they each have a unique personality; each sister is so different from the others. And yet, they all wear the exact same habit, cut their hair the same way, don’t wear make up and follow all these dress code rules with joy. Why?

It’s safe to say that most guys feel the same way. You women are so breathtakingly beautiful that it can be very difficult to pay attention to anything else when you’re in the general vicinity. I once slammed my car into the garage door because I was mindlessly gazing at my beautiful neighbor on her mountain bike.
Because of the nature of sin, when we walk around dressed scandalously, people pay attention to the skin that is showing and not the person who is standing in front of them.
This speaks to one of our greatest desires – to be seen. Not to be superficially seen, but to be deeply seen, known and valued.

In this new Life Teen video, Jackie Francois addresses the question of whether or not it’s okay to wear a bikini this summer. And it’s not just a yes or no answer… it’s all about how you, as a woman, want other people to view you and your worth as a whole person… not just attractive body parts.

I LOVE Halloween. I always have, I always will. Part of it must be the chance to flex my creative muscles; part of it must be my competitive nature and how I’m always trying to beat my previous best efforts.

Last year I drove past the local mall and was surprised to see what appeared to be a giant tapestry hanging between two construction cranes. I’m talking several stories high. Curious, I took a closer look and was appalled to realize it was actually ladies underwear. Hundreds and hundreds of […]

What's the point of judging a girl by her clothes anyway?
To change her mind and get her to change her clothes? The idea that you should run around and say 'it has to come to this line and this line only' in order to be modest is such a legalistic approach and misses the whole point of the discussion about modesty. Since when do people – especially young people – respond well to being confined to a set of rules? It doesn't work. No one wants to obey the ten commandments if they don't have a relationship with God. And no one will listen to someone who only wants to tell them what they're suggesting with how many inches of leg they're showing. There's something more going on.
Fulfilled, happy people don't post suggestive photos of themselves on Facebook.

She had her dream job . . . and she was only 19. Kylie beat out 10,000 other women when she won the Victoria’s Secret Model Search back in 2009. She travelled the world modeling lingerie as a Victoria’s Secret Angel but Kylie realized it wasn’t everything she had hoped it would be, especially as a married woman. So last Spring she said “peace out Victoria’s Secret!”
