Halfway through Week 8 at Covecrest, Life Teen campers split up for the day — while half went to Nantahala Outdoor Center for some whitewater rafting, the other half stayed at camp to go through the high and low ropes courses. Fr. Tom Rafferty celebrated Mass in the evening, and then host Gomer Gormley led the teens in a night of prayer and reflection about Mary’s fiat, her “yes” to God’s will in bearing the Son of God. The theme for the week is “Behold the Mystery,” with musician Mikey Needleman.
